The Alberta Ukrainian Dance Association (AUDA) endeavors tirelessly to invigorate and promote Ukrainian Culture in Alberta through dance initiatives and grant opportunities. AUDA is incredibly proud of the commitment and resilience displayed by the Ukrainian Dance Community as well as the collaboration and camaraderie that have grown out of these deeply challenging times.

Community members from across the province have raised thousands of dollars for Ukraine and Ukrainian relief efforts. President, Emily Belke Farrell, is most proud of AUDA’s collaborative performance pieces that were choreographed and performed in 2022 at UFest in Edmonton and “Hello Ukraine!” in Fort Saskatchewan. The “Youth Pryvit” featured a group of young Ukrainian dancers from across the province together, while the “Unity Pryvit”, involved members from the companies and ensembles of Edmonton in a historic collaboration.
