About the Shumka Dance Festival

Following the success of our inaugural 2025 Shumka Dance Festival at Edmonton’s prestigious Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium, we are thrilled to present the second annual Festival, taking place this week, April 23 – 26, 2026.

The Shumka Dance Festival is a vibrant celebration of Ukrainian dance, culture, and community, bringing together dancers of all ages and skill levels to share their artistry, connect with peers, and be inspired by the spirit of performance. This event highlights the immense talent, creativity, and dedication that define Ukrainian dance across Canada.
