Kelsey is a multi-talented individual with a lifelong dedication to Ukrainian dance. Her journey began in rural Alberta, where she discovered her love for dance. She danced throughout rural Alberta before joining the Volya Ukrainian Dance Ensemble in 2010.
In addition to her dance career, Kelsey has been teaching Ukrainian dance in Alberta since 2005 and has been a guest choreographer for groups in Saskatchewan and Ohio. She’s also been part of the teaching faculty at the Shumka School of Dance since 2013.
Kelsey has embraced challenges outside of dance, winning the Fitness Short category and Best Fitness Routine award with the Alberta Bodybuilding Association in 2011. She’s also been part of the Edmonton Crush and Edmonton Energy dance teams.
Her qualifications include graduating from Victoria Performing Arts School, completing Tier 1 and 2 of the Shumka Syllabus for Ukrainian Dance, and attending Ukrainian Dance Instructor Conferences in Alberta and Ukraine. Kelsey is also a certified Zumba and group fitness instructor. She and her husband own Costumes by Paul, a business designing and producing Ukrainian dance costumes. Additionally, Kelsey is a dedicated Realtor, bringing her passion, dedication, and expertise to the real estate industry.
