Anna Frolov

Hanna Frolova began her artistic journey at the age of four. In 2002, she graduated from the Choreographic School of the National Honored Academic Ensemble of Dance of Ukraine named after Pavlo Virsky, and in 2004 — from the Ensemble’s Studio. That same year, she joined the Pavlo Virsky Ukrainian National Folk Dance Ensemble as a ballet dancer.

Over 22 years of dedicated work in the Ensemble, she performed leading solo parts in numerous concert programs and was an active member of the Artistic Council. Her responsibilities included approving new choreographic works, selecting soloists, and addressing various organizational and creative matters.

In 2018, she was awarded the honorary title “Honored Artist of Ukraine” for her outstanding contribution to the development of Ukrainian dance art. Throughout her career, she received multiple acknowledgments and letters of gratitude for her creative achievements and for preserving national cultural traditions.

In 2007, Hanna graduated from the State Academy of Managerial Staff of Culture and Arts, earning a Bachelor’s degree as a Ballet Master and Pedagogue of Folk Dance Ensemble.

Alongside her stage career, she has been actively conducting workshops in folk and classical dance, teaching technique and stage performance to both children’s and adult groups. She also trained children from the age of four in cheerleading basics and led stretching classes for adults.

In 2024, Hanna founded her own brand — “Poleva_brand”, dedicated to creating handcrafted Ukrainian-style flower wreaths inspired by modern fashion trends.

In 2025, she completed her stage career with the Virsky Ensemble and moved to Canada, where she continues her teaching and artistic work. Currently, she works as a dance technique instructor at the Shumka School of Dance and conducts workshops in folk and classical choreography across Canada, promoting Ukrainian culture and a love for dance.
