He/Him

The beginning of Michael Zukiwsky’s dance career began at the age of four in the basement of the St. Andrew’s Ukrainian Orthodox church. Wanting to progress even further in Ukrainian dance, he began dancing at the Shumka School of Dance by the time he was in second grade. It was there that Michael realized how important being involved in the Ukrainian dance community was to him, not to mention his love of performing and bringing a smile to the face of those in the audience.

In 2016, he auditioned for the Viter Ukrainian Dancers and Folk Choir, where he would remain for four years, touring across Canada and parts of the United States.

Outside of dancing, he is currently working on a Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree at the University of Alberta.
