Kieran Waller

She/Her

Kieran Waller began her dance training at the age of three and entered the competitive dance world by six, studying ballet, jazz, tap, contemporary, lyrical, and acro. Over the years, she earned numerous provincial and national titles and was awarded multiple scholarships to further her training through intensive programs in New York, Las Vegas, Hawaii, Los Angeles, Greece, and across Alberta and British Columbia.

Kieran has completed formal examinations in ballet (RAD Primary through Advanced 1), Ukrainian dance (Shumka Syllabus Grade 3 through Grade 9), and acro (Acrobatic Arts Grades 3 through 5).

Her passion for Ukrainian dance began at age seven. After six years of training under Doug Rachinski at Dance Unlimited, she moved to the Shumka School of Dance to complete her advanced training.

In 2023, Kieran successfully auditioned for Shumka and has since performed in Shumka’s Nutcracker, UKRAINKA, and various festival showcases. In 2024, she was honoured to join Shumka as part of the National Ballet of Ukraine’s U.S. Tour. Kieran looks forward to continuing her journey with Shumka while expanding her dance education and artistic development.
