Ellie began dancing at the age of three, training at the Shumka School of Dance. After graduating from the school, she continued to develop her skills and passion through Studia Shumka. Currently a student at Archbishop Jordan High School, Ellie is preparing to begin her final year in Grade 12.

Her love for Ukrainian dance has been inspired by years of watching Shumka performances, including Shumka’s Nutcracker and Ancestors & Elders—productions she had the joy of performing in as a child. Being part of the Ukrainian community continues to inspire her to grow as a dancer and stay connected to her culture.

In addition to performing, Ellie shares her passion by working as a junior instructor with the Shumka School of Dance, helping younger students develop their skills and confidence.
