Alex started Ukrainian dancing through Ardrossan Yatran when he was four years old. After dancing with the school for nearly ten years he branched out to join the Viter Ukrainian Dancers and Folk Choir for a couple years to eventually becoming a Ukrainian Shumka Dancer in 2021. Throughout his years in these companies he has had the opportunities to share the stage with dancers from Virsky and the National Ballet of Ukraine and tour across the U.S. with the National Ballet in 2024. He has also had the pleasure of being a guest performer for companies such as Aspen Santa Fe Ballet. Alex branched out to start teaching dance in smaller dance schools. When he isn’t teaching or performing, he spends his time working or in school.
