She/Her

Born in Ukraine, Viktoriya Glozhyk cherishes her heritage by speaking Ukrainian, being a member of Plast (Ukrainian Youth Association of Canada), and of course, Ukrainian dancing. Viktoriya has been Ukrainian dancing since she moved to Canada at age 6, and at age 10, she expanded to competitive ballet, jazz, lyrical and contemporary styles at Dance Unlimited. After seeing many of Shumka’s shows at the Jubilee, she joined Studia Shumka in 2019, and the company in 2021. Viktoriya has been a part of Mosquito’s Wedding, Shumka’s Nutcracker, UKRAINKA, and performed alongside the National Ballet of Ukraine on their USA tour in 2024.

Outside of dance, Viktoriya has completed a Bachelor of Commerce degree at MacEwan University. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, going to concerts and musicals, playing tennis in the summer, and traveling.
